Not sure how yet, but it might give me access to the entire array.

Not sure if this would give me access to the directories or not, but if it did, I might be able to manually correct the problem. Pull out the 4 raid disk, and pop them into another server which has an active 4 disk raid. I can rebuild it, but it would sure be easier to regain control. Or, does anyone know of a USB-RJ45 network adapter that would automatically install?

#Wd dx4000 startup failed 0xd9 full#

Short of doing a full system recovery, which rebuilds the entire 4-disk RAID while reinstalling the OS, can anyone think of a way to re-enable the bridge, or access the unit by some other means to get a network going again?

#Wd dx4000 startup failed 0xd9 install#

I'm assuming the OS is looking for a driver, which I can't install blind.Īlthough I'm not positive, but it does appear that a keyboard does work when plugged into the USB port. I've tried to add 2 different USB-RJ45 adapters with no success. I've tried adding a USB-VGA adapter with a keyboard. The problem is, the only way to access the unit is through a network, which is basically disabled on the device.

The unit is running Windows Storage Server 2008 R2, or something like that. The bridge links the built-in dual NIC's. I disabled my bridged network adapter while in RDP. I have a perfectly good DX4000, and I made a bonehead error.
